No, not really, but that was the theme of this photo! Actually, the idea was to take a group photo of the Bridal Loft for their website. We took a nice photo of them on a couch, but then moved into the hallway, and someone said something about a rock band…. If only we had a guitar and some drum sticks!

It has been brought to my attention that I have not posted anything here in 31 days…. I have not been on vacation! Here are a few things that I have done this last month.
I have been putting together the equipment to shoot polaroid type 55 (yes, real live film!) for some time, and this is my first attempt at a real photo. It is my six year old, but I think this is what he would look like if he was 18 and I had just bailed him out of jail. Normally, he is a very happy child.
Ok, not the most compelling image I have ever taken…. This was taken for Counselor Magazine. Never heard of it? That makes two of us.
Here is an image from a very successful portrait shoot. More people should hire me to take their portrait!
I don’t do a whole lot of children photography, but I really like this photo…. I wish I had taken a photo like this of one of my children, it would be on my wall.

I photographed my sister Kris today for her upcoming listing on Match.com. I told her I would give her a little pre-exposure on my blog. And, as an added bonus, if you marry my sister, I will photograph your wedding for free!
