I photographed my sister Kris today for her upcoming listing on Match.com. I told her I would give her a little pre-exposure on my blog. And, as an added bonus, if you marry my sister, I will photograph your wedding for free!

I just received this letter, and it made my day.
I’ll just come out and say it – I am just in love with you. Why, you ask? Because I am convinced we have the best wedding photographs in the whole wide world, look at them constantly, and had SO much fun with the photographer!
Eric, I want to thank you so much for capturing our wedding day in pictures. This was such an important part of the day for Allen and I, especially since we decided to forgo a videographer. The meetings and communication leading up to the day were always easy, fun, and reassuring. I never worried about not being able to get a hold of you, or being put at a lower priority due to your schedule and other clients. You were SO MUCH FUN to have around on our wedding day! You and your assistant did a marvelous job of “fading” into the background, so much that my family, bridal party and Allen and I were never self-conscious or felt on the spot. Not only that, I really enjoyed your personality and humor all through the day.
And then….
You got in the pool.
I cannot BELIEVE you got in the freakin pool.
I ruined my dress, but that’s ok – I spent more on the photos than I did on the dress, and I’ll use them more anyway! I mean, what photographer rolls up his pants, throws caution to the wind, and joins the front line where the action is? Awesome friggin photographers, that’s who!!
I really cannot express my satisfaction enough, both with the end product and the fun we had in the process. If you ever need references, please do not hesitate to contact me – I can’t sing your praises enough!
Thank you, thank you, thank you -
Teri
ps – did I mention how impressed I am that YOU GOT IN THE POOL???

Finally, I have separated my work into two totally different websites! I have used two domains, profilephoto.com and ericcable.com, for years, but they have always been the same website. But no more! www.ericcable.com is now a totally different site and is devoted to my commercial and editorial work, while www.profilephoto.com will be just weddings. I still have a little more work to do on the wedding website, but ericcable.com is ready to go! Well, I could use better text on the bio page, but I do like the photo!
